Service description

Challenge Accepted is a local‑first habit and challenge tracker. Most functionality runs in your browser and stores data on your device. An optional Google Sheets sync lets you store copies of your data in your own Google Drive.

Your data and responsibility

• You own your data. We do not operate a backend that stores it.
• You are responsible for exporting/backing up your data if needed.
• If you enable Google Sheets sync, you are responsible for managing access to that sheet within your Google account.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the app to store unlawful or harmful content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt or misuse the app or third‑party services.

Third‑party services

If you choose to connect Google, your use of Google Identity Services and Google Sheets API is governed by Google's terms and privacy policies. We do not control or assume liability for third‑party services.

No warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non‑infringement. You use the app at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Challenge Accepted and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the app.

Changes to the terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
